I have seen some of the best moments of my life behind a lens.
And I've seen some of the worst.
With every moment, I have grown. With every photo, I feel blessed.
To learn more about my personal and professional style, please check out my very first blog post.
I have more than five years of full-time experience as a photojournalist for newspapers in both Florida and Wisconsin. From small towns to large cities, from little league games to professional sports, from the Sunshine State to my home state of Wisconsin, I know this much to be true: Capturing moments is my passion.
Whether it's your little boy's very first t-ball game, a high school football state championship, the day you say "I do," or your baby's first year of life - I feel nothing less than honored to be there with my camera.
I am married to my favorite person on the planet. Yes, that's us you see to the right ... I'm in the pink half-jacket! (The jacket my husband, Tommy, just loves to hate ... but oh well, he asked me to marry him a few minutes after the photo was taken, so it can't be half-bad, right?) We live in Brookfield, Wis., with our German Shorthaired Pointer, Mya. (That's a dog.) :)
I actively freelance for various newspapers and publications across the state, including the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Waukesha Freeman. My work also has been published in the Wisconsin State Journal, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, The Denver Post, the (St. Paul) Pioneer Press, and the Associated Press.
